Natural Supplements vs Whole Food Supplements

grapes-sized.jpgDefinitely a MYTH.  Did you guess it?  Let's just use a simple egg - (nothing special like a high omega egg where it is designed to have more nutrition in the yolk like the Christopher eggs have mastered).  You don't maximize your health benefits by forcing yourself to eat the entire egg.  The amount of calories and fat in the yolk do not outweigh the benefits of the yolk.  This is why many people add extra whites to their food.

Something you should be asking yourself is does the nutrition of the product outweigh the calories, carbs, and fats of the product.  If yes, then it is a good choice to use whole foods.  If no, then an alternative like a proven natural supplement is a wise choice.  That is why whole food supplements are not the best choice.

I'll use a supplement example now, take Vivix by Shaklee.  This is an incredible anti aging tonic where it repairs the cells on 4 different levels to combat aging.  If they were to use the whole food of the super grape, you would have to use more than just 1 teaspoon a day plus the effects of the resveratrol may not be 10 times more effective.  It is the skin and the seed of the grape that contain the most needed extra chromosome to make this supplement so phenomenal.  It is not the pulp or the juice of the grape.

When you are creating supplements, you don't want a bunch of extra filler to just be able to claim that something is whole food. You want the part that is going to maximize your health.

That is why just one children's vitamin of Shaklee's would be like eating the following:

†Food equivalence may vary depending on a number of factors, such as source and preparation.

Not even my children could eat that much.  So next time someone is trying to steer you to whole food supplements, think again.  To view the supplements that we recommend because the company has an impeccable record and has time tested for over 50 years, visit www.extremehealthmakeovers.com or www.feelexcellent2.net
